Don Kincaid '76 Releases Compact Disc, Get On the Journey

January 21, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "A former voice and theater major at DePauw University, [Don] Kincaid performed for many years at Playcrafters Barn Theatre, including roles in Driving Miss Daisy, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and To Kill a Mockingbird, notes an article in Iowa's Quad City Times. Kincaid, a member of DePauw University's Class of 1976, is releasing his first compact disc, Get On the Journey.

“I’ve been writing these songs for about five years, but we only began recording in May 2004,” says Kincaid of the 12-song collection, which will be unveiled Friday night at a concert at Christ’s Family Church in Davenport, Iowa, where Kincaid is praise and worship leader. “The good Lord has been leading me to take up music ministry for some time. He’s been putting these songs in my heart. It just seemed like the natural progression to get these things done.”
