Tigers Control Ball, Clock and Wabash in 18-7 Monon Bell Victory

November 16, 1968, Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw University controlled the football for more than two-thirds of the game and ran a record 88 plays en route to an 18-7 victory in today's Monon Bell Classic. The win gives the Tigers a 6-3 record for the 1968 season. (at left: Tom Mont and his assistant coaches at Blackstock Stadium)

Sophomore quarterback Roy Pottenger got the Tigers' scoring started with a one-yard sneak. John Sacramento  connected on two field goals, and fullback Bill Holton ran for a late touchdown that iced the victory for the visiting team.
