USA Today's Jim Sergent '89 Noted in Michigan Newspaper

February 11, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - In a column lamenting the difficulty in finding quality young reporters and editors, Jan Griffey, publisher of Michigan's Niles Daily Star mentions an exception in "former employee, Jim Sergent, who worked here as his first job after graduating from DePauw University. Today, Jim is in charge of the design of the 'Money' section at USA Today," she points out. Sergent is a 1989 graduate of DePauw.
