Dennis Bland '87 Launches Ambitious Campaign for Center for Leadership Development

March 21, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "The Center for Leadership Development is already well on its way to meeting a $2.8 million capital campaign goal that will be used to construct a new headquarters," notes the Indianapolis Star, noting the Center's president, 1987 DePauw University graduate Dennis E. Bland, "told guests at the annual Minority Business and Professional Achievers dinner March 14 that more than $500,000 had been pledged during the campaign's early phase."
Susan Guyett writes, "The program, started 25 years ago, helps minority youths in Central Indiana reach their potential through
programs that focus on character development, leadership skills, community service and career advancement."
