Baseball Team Sets School Record with 29 Victories

May 3, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "DePauw University’s baseball team, featuring Crawfordsville graduate Adrian Norris as the starting catcher, set a school record with 29 wins after splitting a doubleheader at Thomas Moore on Sunday," begins a story in Indiana's Crawfordsville Journal Review. "The Tigers (29-14) fell in the opening game, 8-3, and won the second game, 7-3." DePauw's seniors posted the best four-year win total in school history with 102. Last year's DePauw team won 28 games and the 1997 seniors totaled 101 victories.
