Two More HS Football Standouts Commit to DePauw

May 7, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "Erik Lundorf, a stalwart on the left side of the Kingsmen offensive line, is headed to DePauw," notes Indiana's Elkhart Truth of the Penn High School senior football player. "Lundorf, at 6-3, 230 pounds, was a relentless force in the trenches for Penn. The All-NIC first-teamer was a two-year starter and three-year letterwinner for the Kingsmen."

"Erik's got great feet and did a great job of protecting the backside of our quarterback," Lundorf's high school coach, Cory Yeoman, tells the newspaper. "He's a very physical, very athletic player for his size. He moves well." The article points out, "DePauw was 8-2 overall, 5-1 in theDePauw Helmet Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in 2004. Tim Rogers, who was offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Cornell University last season after serving the previous six years as the head coach at Kalamazoo College, has been named DePauw University's new head football coach."
