TGL, Band That Features DePauw Freshman, Set to Release First CD

May 19, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - John Sibbitt, a DePauw University freshman, is among the members of a musical group known as TGL, which is releasing its first recording, Never on Time. TGL, short for The Good Life, will perform at an "album release party" this Saturday, May 21, at 6 p.m. at Greencastle Christian Church, notes the Banner-Graphic.

"The group consists of five former and current Greencastle High School students," writes Jason Moon. Sibbitt and his bandmates all "participated in athletics at Greencastle at one time or another. But they moonlight as musicians." The story notes that photos that grace the compact disc's liner notes were taken by Matt Bowen, who operates his own local photography business and serves as DePauw's photographer.
