"As part of ESPN SportsCenter's 50 states in 50 days tour, the national sports network is running a poll on espn.com asking fans to vote for the greatest rivalry in Indiana. The Wabash/DePauw rivalry leads the way with 35 percent of the vote. Indiana/Purdue basketball is second with 26.8 percent of the vote. Notre Dame/Purdue football is third at 11.8 percent."

"This fall marks the 112th meeting between Wabash and DePauw," the newspaper's Matt Wilson writes. "The rivalry for the Monon Bell is tied 51-51-9.
