Anne Decker-Steinberg '92 is Finalist for 'Indy's Best and Brightest' Award

September 26, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Anne Decker-Steinberg "is described by friends and associates as an individual whose effervescence and dynamic personality have enabled her to succeed in an arena with few established rules," and is a finalist for an "Indy's Best and Brightest" award, notes a supplement to today's Indianapolis Star. A 1992 graduate of DePauw, Decker-Steinberg is an entrepreneur who "created two distinct organizations after working in the baking industry after college," including the firm she now leads, Details + Design. She among ten of the city's leaders in media, entertainment and sports nominated for the award. Winners will be announced Thursday.
"A leader in business and philanthropic endeavors, Decker-Steinberg has been a driving force in an organization created and supported by the Women's Fund, OPTIONS, which provides professional women the opportunity to pursue individual and group philanthropic efforts to better the community," the article states.
The accounting firm KPMG sponsors the second annual "Indy's Best and Brightest" awards, which are presented by Junior Achievement and are designed "to recognize central Indiana's outstanding young professionals. These are the leaders of today and tomorrow in a broad spectrum of industries. They were chosen not only for their professional accomplishments, but also their leadership -- positively impacting their communities and the people around them."
