Play of Sophomore Offensive Lineman Gets Newspaper's Attention
October 18, 2005
October 18, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - "Former Trinity High School standout Kerry Pappas is doing well as a starting left guard on the DePauw University football team," notes Creig Ewing in today's edition of Kentucky's Louisville Courier-Journal. "Pappas, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound sophomore from New Albany, is a two-year starter for the NCAA Division III Tigers (4-1). Though stats and awards are hard to come by for offensive linemen, Pappas was named the team's offensive MVP after a 33-9 victory over Chicago on Oct. 1 and was given the 'Hammer Award' for the most outstanding hit in another game."Access the item at the newspaper's Web site.
