Prof. Eric Silverman Published in Journal of Ritual Studies

December 15, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Eric K. Silverman, Edward Myers Dolan Professor of Anthropology at DePauw University, co-authored an essay that is published in the latest issue of the Journal of Ritual Studies. Entitled "Dialogics of the Body: The Moral and the Grotesque in Two Sepik River Societies," the essay is a collaboration with David Lipset, a professor of cultural anthropology at the University of Minnesota.
Founded in 1987, the Journal of Ritual Studies is an independent, subscriber-based, peer-review journal. Its interdisciplinary audience includes scholars from anthropology, religious studies, sociology, psychology, performance studies, ancient, medieval, early modern and contemporary history, area studies, philosophy, art, literature, dance, and music.
