Prof. Gloria Townsend Chairing Statewide 'Women in Computing' Conference

"The conference will bring together people from industry and Indiana academic institutions. High school students are invited to attend the Saturday activities," notes the event's Web site. "Our previous CICWIC conference brought together women from Butler University, DePauw University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Indiana University, Purdue University, and Indiana State University."
Fisayo Oluwadiya, a DePauw junior and computer science major, will make a presentation on artificial intelligence. A total of 124 women are registered for the conference.
