Governor Selects Bryan Poynter '89 for Indiana Natural Resources Commission

Poynter, vice president of industrial sales and leasing for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker in Indianapolis and 1989 graduate of DePauw University, is one of five citizens appointed by Governor Mitch Daniels to serve on the Indiana Natural Resources Commission. Poynter will serve a three-year term on the commission, an autonomous board that addresses issues pertaining to the Department of Natural Resources.

The 12-member board includes citizens chosen on a bipartisan basis, as well as ex-officio state agency membership including the lieutenant governor and directors of the Department of Environmental Management, Transportation student park.jpgand Natural Resources. The Natural Resources Commission adopts permanent rules and conducts administrative review as the "ultimate authority" for the Department of Natural Resources.
