Indianapolis Chief Deputy Mayor John Dillon '82 Honored by HS as 'Outstanding Alumnus'

June 17, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - "John J. Dillon, a 1982 graduate of DePauw University, received the Fred McCashland Outstanding Alumnus from his high school, Brebeuf Jesuit, last night. "A member of the Class of 1978, Dillon is chief deputy mayor of Indianapolis and chief of staff to Mayor Bart Peterson," notes an announcement in the Indianapolis Star. "The award is given to a graduate who exemplifies the ideals of the Jesuit way of life."
