DePauw Noted in USA Today's Division III Football Preview
August 24, 2006
August 24, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw University's football program is among those mentioned in USA Today's "Division III Outlook." Patrick Coleman writes, "DePauw (Ind.) has its fourth coach in four years after the departure of Tim Rogers. Matt Walker, a six-year assistant and head baseball coach, takes the reins." DePauw is the only Indiana university or college noted in the piece; the Tigers, Colorado College and Birmingham-Southern are the three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference members cited (Colorado joins the SCAC in 2007, the same year Birmingham-Southern will begin competing in football).
