Enjoy Greg Spero Trio's Jazz Fusion Thursday Night

September 20, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Keyboardist and composer Greg Spero brings his electric trio to DePauw Jazz at the Duck this Thursday, September 21. The show will feature fresh interpretations of jazz standards and originals. Taking place from 9 to 11 p.m. at Walden Inn's Fluttering Duck, the event is free and open to the public.

Combining straight ahead jazz with rock, funk and electronica, the group has been touring across the Midwest, receiving rave reviews for their fresh approach to jazz fusion. Recently, they've been opening for such prestigious jazz artists as saxophonist Frank Catalano and guitarist Fareed Haque. Joining the Chicago-based keyboardist will be DePauw professor and bassist Paul Musser as well as noted Chicago drummer Robert Gay.
