Big Stop Gives DePauw 22-21 Win, Keeps Bell Here for 10th Straight Year

November 14, 1964, Greencastle, Ind. - Wabash College was stopped short of the goal line on a two-point conversion attempt late in the game, giving DePauw University a 22-21 victory in the Monon Bell Classic and keeping the railroad bell in Greencastle for a tenth consecutive year. DePauw's Tod Eberle stopped Wabash's Allan Anderson in the play that decided the outcome.
