Washington Lobbyist Michael Naylor Provides 'Insider's Perspective' Thursday

March 5, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Michael Naylor, a well-known Washington lobbyist who is currently senior advisor, policy & strategy for AARP, will visit the DePauw University campus this Thursday, March 8. Naylor will discuss "Lobbying in Washington, D.C.: An Insider's Perspective," in a session moderated by Ken Bode, Eugene S. Pulliam Distinguished Visiting Professor of Journalism at DePauw. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media's Watson Forum and is free and open to the public.
Over the past two decades, Naylor has lobbied for a number of powerful organizations and corporations, including AARP, Honeywell, and John Deere. Previously he served ten years in senior staff positions for two U.S. Senators.
In addition to his Watson Forum event, Naylor will address two DePauw political science classes taught by Bruce Stinebrickner, who chairs the department.
