May 27, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - "Kathy Hubbard keeps building Bridges of Understanding," begins an item in today's Indianapolis Star. "As a founder of the nonprofit, nonpolitical group seeking to advance understanding between Americans and people in the Arab world, she had a dinner party Monday to spread the word," continues "The Buzz" column. Kathryn Fortune Hubbard is a 1974 graduate of DePauw University.
Susan Guyett writes, "Call it dinner-table diplomacy or an informal education session -- nothing raises awareness and camaraderie faster than a group of women enjoying a great meal. The gathering took place at Hubbard's gracious Northside home. Bridges of Understanding officials have been focusing on creating strategic alliances and communication channels between the women of the United States and Jordan."
