"When Waltman landed the head job at UIndy, Sturgeon followed as his assistant, helping the Hounds to an 89-49 (.645) mark in five seasons and two NCAA Division II tournament berths."
For the past ten seasons, Waltman was head coach at Indiana State University. Sturgeon is 138-113 (.550) in nine years at UIndy.
