Tiger Dreams of Undefeated Campaign Dashed in Monon Bell Blowout

November 17, 1951, Greencastle, Ind. - The first Monon Bell clash to feature both teams coming into the contest with undefeated records was one the DePauw University Tigers would like to forget. Wabash College piled up 565 yards of offense -- 325 on the ground -- en route to a 41-12 thrashing of DePauw at Blackstock Stadium this afternoon.
The Little Giants' Stan Huntsman accumulated 143 yards on 14 carries, and his brother, Jerry Huntsman, connected on four touchdown passes. DePauw lost 17 yards on the day on 41 carries. It marks Wabash's third consecutive victory in the hard-fought rivarly which dates back to 1890.
