Carol Parks Morrison '64 Publishes Presbyterian Pioneers

November 1, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - Carol Parks Morrison, a 1964 graduate of DePauw University, has authored Presbyterian Pioneers: Confronting the Culture, 1843-2006. The book tells "the story of two small churches in the Midwest, united by history and tradition, then joining as one body," the Indiana Attica-Williamsport Presbyterian Church, notes the author in the foreward.

Morrison continues, "This story could have happened in any small community across the Midwest. Here a body of believers identified with each other, standing for the values they believed to be truth against the moral laxity of their community. Here is American history as lived by that group, witnessing to their fellow passengers on the long journey of life. What emerges is an engaging study of people working together in daily and weekly services."
