Stephen Ewing '65 Re-Elected Board Chair of AAA Michigan

February 5, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Stephen E. Ewing, retired vice-chair of DTE Energy and 1965 graduate of DePauw University, was today re-elected for a one-year term as chair of the board of directors of the Automobile Club of Michigan (AAA Michigan). Ewing has been a member of the board of directors of AAA Michigan -- which has more than 1.6 million members -- since 1998. He was first elected board chair last February and was re-elected at the organization's board meeting today in Dearborn.

After graduating from DePauw, Ewing earned an M.B.A. from Michigan State University and an advanced management degree from the Harvard School of Business Administration. "He serves on the boards of several economic, educational, cultural, community and health and human service organizations and businesses, including Detroit's Regional Chamber and United Way Community Services Board in Detroit. He is chairman of the American Gas Association," reports the Sun Heraldof Gulfport, Mississippi.
