Marvin's Sends Support to Family of Local Accident Victim

February 28, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - A popular DePauw campus hangout "is going above and beyond ... by offering a helping hand to a local family in crisis," reports today's Banner-Graphic. Marvin's, "famous for its garlic cheeseburgers," sent food to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where Drew Christy is hospitalized after a serious auto accident and his friends and family are gathered.
Susan A. Wainman, acquisitions/serials assistant at DePauw University's Roy O. West Library, is Christy's aunt. She tells the Greencastle newspaper, "I just thought it would be neat for people in the community to see how much people are supporting Drew in his trying time."

The legend of Marvin's includes a February 2004 mention on CBS' Joan of Arcadia, which was written and produced by Tom Garrigus, a 1988 DePauw graduate.
