Journalist Stephanie Stang '01 Honored by Associated Press

April 12, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Stephanie Stang, a reporter for South Bend, Indiana NBC affilate WNDU-TV and 2001 graduate of DePauw University, is a first place honoree in the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters Association TV awards. Stang was recognized in the category "Best general news - Local Television."

The AP broadcast awards recognize excellence in television and radio journalism.

Stang joined the WNDU news team in October 2004, and previously worked at WBKO in Bowling Green, Ohio. At DePauw, where she was a communication major, she gained experience at student radio station WGRE and interned during her senior year at Terre Haute's WTHI-TV.
