DePauw Proves Prognosticators Right, Trounces Wabash 20-0
October 31, 1896
October 31, 1896, Greencastle, Ind. - A prediction by the editors of DePauw Weekly that the University's football team would post a shutout against rival Wabash College proved prescient. Today's contest at McKeen Field was dominated by the home team, which prevailed by a 20-0 score. The victory avenges two consecutive losses to the men from Crawfordsville over the past two seasons.
Next up on the DePauw schedule is Purdue on November 7.
