"Comic actor Harpo Marx made a cameo appearance, hamming it up with Ricky and Lucy. Then the silent Marx Brother played Take Me Out to the Ball Game on his namesake musical instrument, the harp. Moore, just a kid then, was mesmerized by that classic TV episode. 'I think that's when I first fell in love with the harp,'" she tells the newspaper.

The feature notes that Moore "performs as principal harpist for the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, and teaches harp.jpgthe instrument to DePauw University students as an adjunct professor. She's been in both roles since 1989 ... Moore's students include music majors and minors at DePauw, adult women, school children and her own daughters, ages 12 and 15."

The professor says, "I tell my students, the more you do it, the easier it gets and the more fun it is." Of the music her instrument creates, Moore states, "It's a lovely tone, and I think certain people are especially drawn to the sound."

The article notes that Moore's husband, Kevin, teaches psychology at DePauw.
