Indianapolis Colts Feature Cheerleader Danetha Doe '08

October 3, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - "It's a wonderful feeling to be a part of a successful and well-respected organization," says Danetha Doe, a 2008 DePauw University graduate who is a cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts. Doe, who works as a mortgage loan officer in her primary job, is featured on the National Football League team's Web site.
The story notes that Doe, who majored in economics, is a "recent DePauw University graduate ... After spending a year on her college pom squad, she brought her talent to the Indianapolis Colts. She always wanted to dance for a pro team, and can proudly say she is enjoying her second season as a Colts cheerleader."
It adds, "Her hobbies expose a wide range of talents and interests. She loves sewing, modeling, chocolate, producing and marketing documentary films and eventually wants to be fluent in four other languages. As she gets older, she dreams of being a financial resource to minority children going to college and even opening a community youth center."
