Alison (Tam) Frazier '84 Elected Superior Court Judge

November 7, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - "Alison Frazier was the only Republican to win a Jefferson County seat in the 2008 general election," reports Indiana's Madison Courier. A 1984 graduate of DePauw University, "Frazier overtook Democrat Michael J. Hensley by the slimmest margin of any county race to win the judgeship of Jefferson Superior Court." After all the ballots were counted, the difference was 141 votes. "I feel like Michael (Hensley) and I had unique qualifications to bring to this office, and I feel lucky enough to come out the winner," Frazier tells the nesspaper. "It was a win-win situation for Jefferson County voters."
Alison Tam Frazier was a psychology major at DePauw. An attorney for 18 years, she worked for judges at the Indiana Court of Appeals and was employed at the law firm of Alcorn Goering & Sage.
