Anne Becker '99 Promoted to Partner at McDermott Will & Emery

November 14, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - Anne S. Becker, a 1999 graduate of DePauw University, is being promoted to partner at the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery, effective January 1. Based in the firm's Chicago office and working in the employee benefits department, Becker "advises clients on various employee benefit issues including retirement and welfare plans," reports MarketWatch.

The item adds, "Prior to joining McDermott, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana." It notes that she graduated from DePauw summa cum laude, and went on to earn a J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
