Mike Moore is an NABC All-American

March 24, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw University senior Mike Moore has been named to the 2009 State Farm Coaches' Division III All-America second team. "Selected and voted on by member coaches of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America," notes an announcement from the NABC.
Moore, a guard, is just the sixth player in DePauw men's history to earn the distinction since the NABC first selected a team in 1967
This season, he paced the 19-7 Tigers with 20.2 points per game and hit a team-high 86 three-pointers, while averaging 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game. The 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Moore finished his career as the SCAC's all-time assists leader with 545 which also ranked second in school history. He also finished as DePauw's sixth all-time leading scorer with 1,505 points which is 12th in SCAC history. He is the Tigers' all-time leader with 254 career three-pointers made.
Moore was also named to the D3hoops.com All-South first team, as noted in the Franklin News-Post of Rocky Mount, Virginia.
