DePauw Students to Again Tutor Local Youngsters in Reading

September 4, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — "Elementary students needing help with reading can sign up for reading tutoring at Gobin United Methodist Church, located on the campus of DePauw University," begins an item published in Greencastle's Banner-Graphic. "Students will meet with their DePauw tutor twice each week for one hour of individual instruction. Those who ride the school bus may have an additional half hour of crafts and activities. Sessions are scheduled after school from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday."
The item also notes, "Cathy Merrell will be directing the program, which has served hundreds of Putnam County students since 1991."
