Snowstorm Blankets Campus
February 5, 2010
February 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — A snowstorm is blasting central Indiana this afternoon, and forecasters say accumulations could reach as much as eight inches in some areas by tomorrow morning. Classes are being held as scheduled at DePauw University today, but because of the weather conditions, administrators are recommending that people traveling to campus for events call the University switchboard (765-658-4800) as there is a possibility that some events may be cancelled if weather conditions deteriorate.
A winter storm warning is in effect for a broad stretch of central Indiana (including the Indianapolis and Bloomington areas, but not Greencastle and Putnam County) from 4 a.m. today to 6 a.m. Saturday.
