John Perkins '94 Promoted to Executive VP at Talecris Biotherapeutics Holdings

June 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — John R. Perkins II, a 1994 graduate of DePauw University, has been promoted to the position of executive vice president, global commercial operations at Talecris Biotherapeutics Holdings Corp (Nasdaq: TLCR). Perkins has been with Talecris since 2006 and most recently served as the senior vice president and general manager, portfolio management and U.S. business. In his new role, he will be responsible for the global commercial business, including worldwide portfolio management, sales and marketing.

After graduating from DePauw, where he was a political science major, Perkins earned his M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Prior to joining Talecris, he was an operations executive at Cerberus Capital and held a variety of positions at General Electric.
