QB Michael Engle's Record-Tying Performance Noted by USA Today & TV Stations

September 13, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — A USA Today piece offering a look at "the college football weekend by the numbers" states, "6: Touchdown passes for DePauw (Ind.) senior QB Michael Engle in a 45-16 win against Rose-Hulman (Ohio). He tied the school record and was 26-for-36 for 300 yards in just his second college start."

Engle, who didn't play in the fourth quarter, completed 26-of-36 passes for 300 yards and one interception. He tied the University's all-time record for touchdown passes in one game, established by 2010 graduate Spud Dick versus Rhodes on October 10, 2009.
The Tigers open Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play this Saturday, September 18, when they travel to Centre College in Kentucky for a 7:30 p.m. game.
