Tigers Set to Host Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament

December 28, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — The 11th-ranked and 7-2 DePauw women's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday, December 28, when it hosts Rose-Hulman (3-6) in the second game of the 2010 Amy Hasbrook Memorial Tournament. Tipoff from the Neal Fieldhouse is set for 5 p.m.
The tournament's opening game features Ripon (4-3) against Ripon (6-3) at 3 p.m. The winners meet on Wednesday at 5 p.m. while the losers square off at 3 p.m.
The tournament honors the memory of Amy Hasbrook '00, a four-year member
of the DePauw women's basketball program who lost her life in a house
fire on February 4, 2002.
All tournament proceeds will go to the People's Burn
Foundation of Indianapolis, in Amy's hometown. Admission suggestions per
day are $5 adults, $3 senior citizens and high school/college students. The monies
will be directed to Brave Hearts Camp, which promotes Healing through
Encouragement, Acceptance, Respect, Togetherness & Sanctity.
