Jason Schwerdt '05 Competes in Amateur Golf Tournament

NeJuly 29, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — "Since graduating from DePauw University in 2005, Valparaiso native Jason Schwerdt has been separated from golf by a little thing called a full-time job," begins a story in the Times of Northwest Indiana. The report recaps Wednesday's first round of the Northern Amateur, which is being played at Sand Creek Country Club in Chesterton. Schwerdt "last played competitively over a year ago in the Porter County Amateur Open, but decided to compete in the Northern Amateur because he thought it was important that locals, like himself, try to support it."
