James Loveless '29 Re-Elected to NCAA College Committee

January 30, 1957, Greencastle, Ind. — James C. Loveless, director of athletics at DePauw University, has been re-elected to a three year term on the NCAA College Committee. The vote came at the organization's annual meeting in St. Louis.
Dr. Loveless will serve as a representative on the committee for District Four, composed of member colleges in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The committee determines legislative and administrative policies of the NCAA.
A 1929 graduate of DePauw, Loveless was captain of the 1928-29 Tiger basketball team and a Rector Scholar. A three-sport athlete at DePauw, he earned three varsity letters in football, four in baseball and two in basketball.
