Rev. Lisa Hamilton '80 to Dispense 'Middle Age Wisdom' in Connecticut

October 19, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — The Reverend Lisa B. Hamilton, a 1980 graduate of DePauw University, will speak as part of the "Stages and Ages of Spiritual Transformation" series at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Canaan, Connecticut. Hamilton will offer "Middle Age Wisdom for Middle Agers" on Saturday and Sunday, November 5 & 6.
Hamilton is the author of the books Wisdom From the Middle Ages for Middle-Aged Women, Prayers to the God of My Life: Psalms for Morning and Evening, and For Those We Love But See No Longer: Daily Offices for Times of Grief. Her articles have appeared in the Christian Century, Episcopal Life, Spirituality & Health, Redbook, and Family Circle, among others, and she wrote and directed the DVD series Pioneers of the Spirit.
An English literature major at DePauw, Lisa (Belcher) Hamilton was formerly associate producer in the religion unit of CBS News in New York. She is also former associate director of public relations for PBS' Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
An English (literature) major at DePauw, Rev. Hamilton holds master's degrees from Indiana and Yale universities.
