Brett Schetzsle '99 is City Council Candidate in Massachusetts
October 24, 2011
October 24, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — "I believe that the greatest issue facing Ward 6, and the city as a whole, is the poor condition of our streets and sidewalks," says Brett Schetzsle, a 1999 DePauw University graduate. A candidate for city councilor in Beverly, Massachusetts, Schetzsle is profiled in the Beverly Citizen.
He notes, "Every major road connecting Ward 6 to the rest of the city, and even the road connecting the two sides of the Ward, is in a state of terrible disrepair. I believe this isolates residents of the ward from the rest of the city and, beyond the damage it causes to vehicles, creates a disincentive for Ward 6 residents to travel to other areas of the city to enjoy Beverly’s restaurants and shops."
