Newspaper Profiles Dentist Theo Mioduski III '03
January 5, 2012
"I've been fortunate to learn about dentistry from my dad. I was always interested in what he did and was constantly tinkering in his office as a kid," Theo Mioduski III, a dentist in Loveland, Colorado, tells the Fort Collins Coloradoan. "I finally realized, in college, what a great career dentistry could be, and that it was the perfect combination of science, art, design and interpersonal communication that I was looking for."
A 2003 graduate of DePauw University, Dr. Mioduski is profiled in the newspaper, which asks when he decided on his career. "It depends what age you asked me," the dentist responds. "As a kid, my answer was always an astronaut. Later, that became an architect, then a journalist, then a pilot, and I even ended up as a psychology major in college. Basically, I was all over the board."
Dr. Mioduski adds, "I feel like I did pursue those dreams, without ever stopping to realize it along the way. Dentistry is the perfect combination of many areas that I enjoy, like science, communication, art and design, and psychology. I get to enjoy many of the best aspects of those career paths every day."
