Kunz Cops Program’s First NCAC Citation

Greencastle, Ind. – Sophomore Carey Kunz’s name will forever be etched into DePauw women’s lacrosse lore after being named the first honoree on the all-North Coast Athletic Conference squad, receiving honorable mention accolades.

For the season, Kunz tallied 24 points from her midfield position, scoring 16 goals and dropping eight assists in the program’s inaugural varsity season.

A resident of Indianapolis, Ind. (Park Tudor), Kunz’s best scoring output came in a 17-10 loss against Oberlin when she tallied four goals. In NCAC play she tallied 11 goals and four assists.

The DePauw women’s lacrosse team recently finished a successful inaugural varsity campaign under the tutelage of head coach Susanna Wilcox, completing their slate of games with a 4-8 overall record.
