Ramirez Nets NCAC Honor

Greencastle, Ind. – After finishing in a tie for fourth at the Chick-fil-A Collegiate, DePauw freshman Alexandria Ramirez (Naples, Fla./Community) earned North Coast Athletic Conference golfer of the week honors.

Ramirez led the Tigers to a second place finish at Coosa Country Club in Rome, Ga. over the weekend. She finished with a two-day total of 152 strokes (79-73), while the team finished with 633 strokes (321-312) in the event.

DePauw completed a successful fall season by finishing in the top two in five of the six tournaments they entered, including wins at the Anderson University Invitational and the O’Brien National Invitational. Ramirez is the second Tiger to win NCAC honors after teammate Paige Gooch notched the honor twice earlier this fall.
