Wendi Taylor Nations '85 is Executive VP & Partner at Hawthorne Strategy Group

Wendi Taylor Nations, a 1985 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed executive vice president and partner of Hawthorne Strategy Group, a Chicago based public relations firm. Nations most recently served as chief marketing officer for World Business Chicago.

An announcement notes, "Nations’ marketing and public relations career includes her role as senior vice president and health and wellness practice group lead at FleishmanHillard Chicago, and as managing director for the Porter Novelli Chicago office, among other leadership positions."

Gene Reineke, founder and chief executive officer of Hawthorne Strategy Group, states that Nations' "skills complement the combined team with added expertise that will broaden our service to clients in a variety of ways."

"Working with a smart, driven team that is looking toward the future is something I’m truly excited to be a part of," said Nations, who was was an English (composition) major at DePauw and holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
