Jennifer Pope Baker '89 Receives Torchbearer Award

Jennifer Pope Baker, executive director of the Women's Fund of Central Indiana and 1989 graduate of DePauw University, is one of twelve women to be honored with 2018 Torchbearer Awards.

Presented this evening by the Indiana Commission for Women (ICW), the award "recognizes women from around the state who have broken down barriers, overcome obstacles to women’s full participation, and have made Indiana a better place to live, work and raise a family."

The ceremony took place at the Indiana Historical Society.

Melissa Cotterill, chair of the board of commissioners of ICW, says Pope Baker and the other honorees "have all made significant contributions to the state and to their communities, and we are excited to be recognizing them."
