Prof. Cristiana Thielmann Previews Indianapolis Italian Film Festival on TV Program

A preview of the 2019 Italian Film Festival USA of Indianapolis, which aired this morning on Indy Style in Indianapolis, featured an interview with Cristiana Thielmann, part time instructor of Modern Languages (Italian) at DePauw University. The free festival runs the next three Fridays and Saturdays at Indiana University - Purdue University at Indianapolis.

"A lot of these movies that we chose are from directors who are new," Thielmann told the program. "The movies are talking about different areas of Italy, so we can show Italian culture. We show documentaries ... We don't really want to make money, these movies are just to bring culture to (central Indiana)."
