About Facilities Management
The Office of Facilities Management is committed to enhancing the DePauw University campus, and providing quality, professional services in a timely and safe environment.
Staff in the Office of Facilities Management are responsible for providing the following:
- custodial services
- repair and maintenance for exterior and interior buildings (including mechanical/electrical systems)
- maintenance of grounds and landscaping areas
- logistics for special events
The Office of Facilities provides a variety of services to support the maintenance of the University’s buildings, grounds, and utilities. In addition to activities described above, the office manages major capital projects, for both renovation and new construction, when funded by the University.

Safety
Comprehensive testing and inspection programs are in place to ensure University buildings and grounds remain safe and secure.
Facilities Management works closely with DePauw Police and outside agencies to meet all applicable State and local Fire and Building codes as well as ADA compliance.
