Late Payment and Returned Payment Fees
Late fees may be assessed on outstanding balances greater than or equal to $25. The University offers a one-time courtesy refund of one late fee for each student during their entire time at DePauw. After the one-time courtesy refund has been utilized by the student, there will be no additional late fee refunds unless the late fee had been posted to the account in error by DePauw.
Grace Period: Students and families who submit their payment before 4:00 p.m. on the fifth day of the month will avoid the current month's late fee.

DePauw University reserves the right to approve additional late fee refunds for adequately documented extenuating circumstances.
Returned Payment Fees:
Payments made via ACH or check that are not able to be processed due to insufficient funds or bad account information being provided when submitting payment, will be assessed a $20.00 Returned Check Fee.
Wire Transfer Fee:
DePauw does not accept payment via direct wire transfer. If payment is made via wire transfer a $50.00 processing fee will be assessed to your student billing account.
