DePauw University will host Wabash College on Saturday afternoon for the 130th installment of the Monon Bell Classic, one of the oldest college football rivalries in the country. The Tigers (9-0) enter the game seeking their fourth consecutive outright NCAC championship, their third consecutive victory against the Little Giants (8-1) and their second consecutive undefeated regular season.

Coming off last year’s thrilling double-overtime contest, both teams will be looking to write their own chapter in a series that has been defined by memorable moments. Since their first meeting in 1890, these two schools separated by only 30 miles have established a rich legacy of fierce competition and athletic excellence. Wabash currently maintains a narrow edge in overall wins (65-57-9), with six of the last seven Monon Bell games being decided by one score or less.

A capacity crowd is expected to be on hand at Blackstock Stadium for this year’s matchup, with an overflow viewing opportunity available on a jumbo screen in the Olive Street parking lot. Fans who cannot attend in person can still catch every snap through ISC Sports Network’s live broadcast or by downloading the DePauw Video Network app to stream the game from a connected device.

Although DePauw’s allotment of tickets sold out within minutes after going on sale, there are plenty of opportunities for fans to don their black and gold and cheer alongside fellow Tiger faithful. Over 60 different telecast parties will take place from coast to coast, uniting alumni and friends to enjoy the big game together. Anyone interested is invited to view the full list of locations and make plans to attend a gathering nearby.

In addition to live television coverage, the 130th Monon Bell game will take center stage in an upcoming episode of LG’s television series “The Rivalries.” This award-winning docuseries celebrates the spirit of collegiate competition by introducing viewers to the institutions and student-athletes who are behind some of the most historic and heated rivalries in the nation. Throughout the game and in the days leading up to it, camera crews will be on campus to capture the Monon Bell’s biggest storylines and historical highlights. “The Rivalries” will join other prominent national media outlets that have featured the Monon Bell tradition in recent years, including Sports Illustrated, USA Today, the Wall Street Journal and Fox Sports Net.

The 130th Monon Bell Classic kicks off Saturday, November 16, at 1:07 p.m. (EST).
