Role of the Bias Education and Action Team (BEAT)

The Bias Education and Action Team (BEAT) hosts programs and events to educate the campus community on issues related to diversity and inclusion.

BEAT also assesses the environmental impact that bias incidents may have on the DePauw community and develops programming and educational initiatives that serve as restorative measures to prevent future incidents on campus.

Members of this team may meet with relevant student groups and organizations to provide ongoing support and foster a more inclusive environment.
